What We DoThe Administration Department provides support to ReDiscover employees and is focused on providing customer service to our employees and clients through a variety of services, including our Facilities Department. Our Facilities Department ensures our ReDiscover programs and facilities are equipped with safety features and running smoothly. The Facilities Department focuses on the physical infrastructure of our locations to make sure our facilities are in accordance with ADA requirements, Local, State, and Federal codes and regulations. The Facilities Department is at the core of ensuring ReDiscover staff and clients have a safe and welcoming environment.
At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
- Providing fleet maintenance tracking on company owned vehicles to ensure vehicles are getting regular maintenance.
- Taking company owned vehicles in for regular and preventative maintenance such as oil changes and vehicle inspections.
- Regularly checking company owned vehicles to ensure the vehicle has the correct tire pressure, fluid levels, and are cleaned.
- Assisting with facility related activities such as mail courier duties and clerical help.
- Ensuring documents, packages, and mail is securely stored and delivered to appropriate sites.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A valid driver’s license, appropriate automobile insurance, and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently in an ever-changing environment.
- Knowledge of streets and highways in southwestern Jackson County is desirable.
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of vehicle maintenance and operation.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and G-Suite.
