Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their automotive service needs
- Write accurate and detailed service orders based on customer requests and vehicle inspections
- Communicate with service technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance
- Educate customers on recommended services and repairs, including explaining the benefits and addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about automotive repair and maintenance procedures, as well as the latest industry trends
- Utilize sales techniques to promote additional services and products to customers
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a service advisor role or related position preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with customers
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures, including familiarity with aligning vehicles, air brakes, and general vehicle maintenance
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Experience in sales or upselling is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
