Redwire Space is Hiring a Proposal Manager (Proposal Analyst, Lead) Near Chantilly, VA
- Leading each phase of proposal development.
- Ensuring compliance with the instructions, specifications, and requirements outlined in customer’s solicitation (e.g., Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI)).
- Creating, communicating, and maintaining a detailed proposal schedule with critical milestones.
- Assigning, tracking, and coordinating inputs from proposal contributors including functional leads, subcontractors, and internal management to ensure all proposal requirements are fulfilled.
- Organizing and leading proposal review meetings, regular checkpoints with proposal team members, and preparing materials for executive-level reviews, as required.
- Overseeing final proposal review, approval, and submission.
- Organizing and archiving lessons learned for all proposal efforts.
- Generating and communicating reports to all levels of the team including leadership, engineering, program management, contracts, and others, such as third-party consultants, as required.
- Making contributions to proposal-related policies and processes within the company.
- B.S./B.A. degree in a relevant field and 8 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree in a relevant field and 6 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with end-to-end proposal management for sub-contractor and Prime bids.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Fundamental understanding of the U.S. government and aerospace prime acquisition process, including proposal instructions and evaluation criteria with a focus on national security-related activities.
- Knowledge of proposal development processes.
- Experience managing multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previously TS/SCI cleared.
- Excellent time management and self-starting abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with Business Development processes, capture process, and pipeline management.
- Experience preparing Pricing Volumes including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Basis of Estimate (BOE).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Product Suite.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
