REDWOOD ELECTRIC GROUP is Hiring an Electrical Estimator Near Sacramento, CA

Redwood Electric is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for helping the Estimating Department with detailed cost estimates. This role will primarily work in our Vacaville, 95688 office with a three-year assignment on a job site in Sacramento, 95814.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project specifications and plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
  • Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
  • Help create labor rates/estimates for any project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and subcontractors.
  • Intellectually review bids and proposals from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis for estimators.
  • Present prepared estimates to management and other members of the Estimating Department.
  • Compile and record costs in Accubid.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of administrative or office-related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with writing estimates, project file processes, and quality industry reporting.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Courteous and professional at all times.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during tense and stressful situations.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.
  • Capable of working in a fast paced and team oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Ability to learn new software like Accubid.
  • Minimum education GED or equivalent.
  • Able to complete a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
