Redwood Strategy Group, Inc. is currently collecting resumes for a Senior Financial Analyst future opportunity providing Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Office of the Comptroller (COMP) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support. Position is located in Arlington, VA with potential opportunity for remote. The Senior Financial Analyst (journeyman) will be responsible for funds control, and funds management to include funds release, creation of MIPRs, purchase requisitions (PR), and interagency agreements. Duties will also include funds realignment and transfer of funds. The successful candidate will also have experience with Treasury G-invoicing and budget planning in preparation for budget submission. The Senior Financial Analyst (journeyman) shall have a minimum of five (5) of general experience in: analyzing and evaluating complex textual and/or quantitative information in order to make comparisons among alternatives or to make recommendations for corrections or improvements in process, operations, or policies; experience with automated systems to include database maintenance and reporting; the ability to extract and report reliable data; sound oral and written communications skills; experience communicating with various levels of personnel; and ability to anticipate, project, and plan accordingly. Further, the Senior Financial Analyst (journeyman) shall have five (5) years of specialized experience in similar services; knowledge of accounting principles and DoD financial policies and directives; the ability to analyze and prepare financial documents in compliance with the DoD FMR; and ability to identify and resolve complex problems. Education: BA/BS degree
Clearance: DoD Final or Interim SECRET clearance required.
