Job Description
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Head of Home Equity Investments, the Vice President, Product Management will play a pivotal role in managing the relationship between business stakeholders and the technology team. This role will define and articulate the vision and strategic direction for the Aspire s Home Equity Investment (HEI) platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and user needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and information technology partners.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business impact and customer value.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Use insights to inform product decisions.
  • User Experience: Work closely with design and development teams to ensure the application delivers an exceptional user experience. Incorporate user feedback and usability findings into product enhancements.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and define product requirements from various stakeholders, translating business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer service) to deliver on product objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key product performance metrics. Develop and track KPIs through the lens of the customer and the business. Use data to make informed product decisions and improvements.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including beta testing and post-launch analysis.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed about product progress, challenges, and successes. Present product reviews and roadmaps to executive teams.
  • Budget Management: Manage the product budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet product goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree and minimum of 8-12 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design principles and tools.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $135k - 160K annually. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and other factors.
