Job Description
Project Manager
The Project Manager’s role is to plan, schedule and coordinate all phases of a major construction project, including cost accounting and billing procedures, procurement, and collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to executions. As you can see, this is a position where outstanding customer service skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Active participation in new project activities
- Subcontract & supplier negotiations
- Monitor job progress, Subcontractor performance and project costs
- Scheduling and coordination of subcontracts
- Project cost control/budget management
- Knows and understands the requirements of owner's contract, including bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting, and costs
- Building materials procurement
- Prepare/Conduct all Owner/Architect/Contractor Meetings
- Change orders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management or related degree
You must have 5 years’ experience working on small to mid-sized commercial construction projects.
Strong Organizational and Project management skills
Industry knowledge, ability to read blueprints
Detail oriented and strong communications skills

Experience in one or more of the following types of construction: schools, airports, healthcare facilities, university facilities, research labs, sports facilities, corporate build-to-suite, public facilities, hospitality or themed entertainment.

We would like for you to have local subcontractor relationships.
Strong cost management background is essential as is a strong scheduling background.
Mentorship and training skills
Team Player; support all efforts towards on-time Project completion
Desire to learn and grow under leadership management
