Positions Available: 2 Event Support and Security Specialists

Location: Peoria, IL with travel required as per event locations

Job Type: Part-time, As-needed basis

Role Overview:
We are seeking two reliable and physically capable individuals to join our team as Event Support and Security Specialists. These roles are crucial in supporting our event logistics, providing security, assisting our coordinators, personal assistants, and managing the transport and handling of camera gear and accessories.

Responsibilities:

• Transport, set up, and break down event materials and equipment, including camera gear and accessories.
• Act as on-site security for the event duration, ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the event.
• Assist the event coordinator and personal assistant, stepping in as coordinator when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all event protocols and safety measures.
• Travel to various event locations, prepared for shifts that may extend throughout the event duration.

Requirements:

• Ability to handle physical aspects of the job including lifting and moving heavy equipment and delicate camera gear.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in security or event support preferred.
• Proactive, diligent, and able to work independently.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel as needed.
• Availability to work weekends and non-standard hours, as most events occur during these times.

Compensation:

• Starting wage: $19.00 per hour
• Potential advancement to $30.00 per hour upon receiving three positive reviews from team members or clients.
• Travel time compensated. For travel that extends beyond 5 hours, an additional $25 per hour is provided.
