Senior IT Application Engineer- ONSITE in Detroit, MI

The Senior IT Application Engineer should be a Technical-Functional candidate with over 10 years of Oracle Applications experience. The incumbent will be responsible for estimation, design, development, documentation, and testing, as well as ensuring compliance with technology standards, processes, and policies.

• Partner with the Oracle Development Manager to effectively manage tasks and issues, ensuring efficient utilization of available time and resources.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Applications versions 12.1.3 or higher, and expertise in Oracle Development Languages like SQL and PL/SQL, Oracle Development Tools such as XML / BI Publisher Reports, Reports, JSON, Forms, and Workflow.
• Experience with Interfaces and Data conversions, writing Oracle Alerts, and familiarity with development and coding standards, upgrades, and migration.
• Expertise in EDI modules such as Release Management (RLM), e-Commerce Gateway (EC), Order Management (OM), Order-to-Cash process flow cycle, and Procure-to-Pay process flow cycle.
• Knowledge of tools for version control and automatic code migration is desirable.
• Proficiency in EDI formats, creation of bridge documents, and processing EDI data within Oracle.

Required Skills and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required
• Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Applications 12.1.3 or higher, with technical development expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle XML / BI Publisher Reports, Oracle APEX, OA Framework Pages, JSON, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Familiarity with Order-to-Cash processes, EDI processes, and preparing bridge documents and EDI mapping documents (particularly with Oracle EBS).
• Experience with e-commerce Gateway, Release Management (RLM), and Order Management (OM) modules of Oracle Applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture is desired.

Training/Licenses/Certifications:

• Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle Certification preferred.
• Experience with STAT Dell is highly desired.
• Knowledge of Oracle Apps 12.1.3 or higher and R12.1.3 standards.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, including strong knowledge of collections, exception handling, PL/SQL blocks, and the ability to write functions, procedures, triggers, packages, and SQL scripts.
• EDI expertise, including preparing EDI bridge documents and mappings with Oracle EBS.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix Operating Systems and knowledge of various Application Top folders.
• Experience working with EDI VAN providers and handling EDI specifications for 11 to 12 years.
• Knowledge of Oracle modules such as EC, RLM, OM, and shipping execution.
