• Determinessystemvulnerabilitiesandresidualriskbasedonanalysisoftechnicalartifacts, interviews, and evaluation of current system state
• Evaluateseffectivenessofproposed mitigations
• Contributestoward recommendations on technical/policychanges, processes and methodologies to assess and mitigatecybersecurity risk on informationtechnology within the SCA's appointed authorization boundary.
• Workswith other Cyber Analysts, SMEs, and SCARs toensure that allcybersecurityanalysis and cybersecurity risk assessments are completed with time and qualitystandards established by Division leadership and Task Lead.
• Supports program andprojects with security and information assurance requirements elicitation basedoncustomer and subject matterexpert communication and independent research
• Performsall other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree inCybersecurity,ComputerScience,InformationTechnology,Information Systems required. Equivalent work experience maybe substituted for Bachelor’s degree.Master’s degree preferred.
• IAM Level II Certification IAW the DoD approved 8140 baselinecertifications required
• Must have at least 5years of experiencein cyber riskassessment orexperience with technologiesutilizedin AFNET or DoD systems
• ProficiencywitheMASSpreferred
• Must havefamiliarization withNIST SP800-53, AFI 17-130 and DODI 8510.01
• Strongplanning,organization,andanalyticalskills,withattentiontodetail required
• Must be able to takeinitiative and be self-motivated
• Quicklearner;passionateabouttechnologyand ableto learnnewtechnologyareasasdirected
• Abilityto elicit,identify,andresearchinformationassurancerequirements and perform as a member of an assessment review team
• Effectiveteam player with good interpersonal skills
• Mustbe able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsrequired
• Mustbe able to display professionalism in all situations
• Knowledgeinemergingtechnologies including cloud, AI and virtualization,networking,systemsengineering,identity management, web technologies,system administration,andsystem security preferred
• Thisposition requires onsite work.Must beflexible to be able to work in the office, as assigned.
