Position Description

The Network Planning Analyst II will be responsible for projects as well as inventory metrics and tracking execution, such as days of supply, excess inventory, aged materials, discontinuations, graphics redesigns, regulation changes, formula changes and network changes.

Essential Functions:

  • Projects analysis
    • Includes tracking, communicating, analyzing, and evaluating inventories and/or rundowns (such as discontinuations, redesigns, new launches, etc.)
    • Include manual adjustments to account for actual performance and delta changes.
  • Execution Tracking (Exposure risk, target completion, material status)
  • Manage and communicate inventory analysis reports to key stakeholders (Account Managers, Production Planners, Material Analysts)
  • Use critical thinking to build scenarios and analyze solutions to mitigate exposure risk ($)
  • Project and analyze month-end inventory across all materials
  • Extension requests upon material expiration
  • Deactivation and Material status audits for new and old projects
  • Submit deactivation requests upon project completion for obsolete items.
  • Manage new projects execution tracker to validate forecasting/ordering lead times meets target launch.
  • Maintain new projects material lead time tool.
  • Project and analyze month-end exposure risk for all aged materials to accounting and Supply Chain Finance
  • Assist Project Management in projects that arise for cost savings and/or sustainability initiatives
  • Extract data from a variety of sources and provide analysis in presentable formats such as reports, charts, and graphs.
  • Generate, interpret, validate, and summarize monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports as needed to support and drive business initiatives
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Lead standardization for inventory and aging processes
  • Monitors and supports the following functions:
    • Procurement
    • Finance
    • Master Data
    • Production Planner
    • Materials Analyst
  • This role is also responsible for playing the role as super user (Key User) for Supply Chain Planning, reporting and deployment.
  • Additionally, this role supports ad-hoc business analytics / reporting to identify trends and support the rundown, launches, and deactivation processes.

Education and Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working in Supply Chain analysis
  • BA/BS in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Prior experience in food/ beverage manufacturing, sourcing, or supply chain highly desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 3 years of excellent SAP experience
  • Power BI (or similar) experience preferred
  • Projects execution
  • MRP, Material Planning and Order Management skills
  • Advanced excel and reporting skills.
  • Collaboration and training
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Self-starter, ability to lead technical components of projects based on overall plan with minimal direction
  • Data driven, analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator and strong team player who can work across multiple functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited guidance but with the business acumen to drive the correct decisions based upon company pillars.
  • Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change.
  • Relates well to people, resolves conflicts, understands, and meets needs of business partners.
  • Consistently delivers results and demonstrates personal initiative and independent motivation to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities

Proficiency Level:

  • Possesses beginning to working-level knowledge of subject matter. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Leading, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
