POSITION OVERVIEW
In this position the clerk performs a variety of shipping and receiving tasks. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is required to keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Receives incoming material from all suppliers
•Completes 1500 on OSP material that is returned from outside processing vendors
•Reports errors with receiving error reports.
•Places travelers on incoming shipments to be routed to the appropriate department/locations
•Scans cards for Ultriva suppliers
•Tracks incoming shipments from Guadalajara
•Assists with invoicing issues
•Works with Procurement on receiving discrepancies
•Guides receiving team on any daily tasks
•Maintain 5S in the Receiving area
•Load and unload delivery trucks
•Maintain receiving documents according to record retention policy
•Assist with Order Packet Assembly
•Inventory Move Sheets
•Keying 1500 Completes to Release CNC Orders
•Keying ATO Area Completions
•Assist Cycle Count Analyst
•Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards and CTPAT
•Adhere to all export, import, supply chain security policies
o Keeping dock area in neat orderly condition, monitor loading and unloading operations at the dock.
o Enforce plant safety regulations for all persons entering docks in compliance with CTPAT and new COVID-19 regulations
•Implement 80/20 Methodology
•Regular Attendance

•Provide backup for the Shipping Supervisor
•Computer Skills:
o Personal Computer
o Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Above average verbal and written communication skills
•Lift Truck Certification
•Additional responsibilities within the P&IC Department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
HS diploma or equivalent required, prefer some post-secondary education. Associates degree a plus.
Experience: 3 years or more of equivalent experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
