About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a Leasing Representative to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This person will identify and close small shop leasing deals (new and renewal) under the direction of others. Effectively source new deals though canvasing and/or utilization of lead generating platforms. Successfully implement Regency standard leasing procedures. Be willing to ask questions, learn quickly and will work well with multiple internal departments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Identifies qualified prospects to lease and occupy space in new and existing shopping centers/developments.
• Networking with current and new tenant prospects and retail brokers.
• Renews existing tenants’ leases to achieve maximum revenues while improving or maintaining tenant retention and satisfaction.
• Complete renewal checklist and occupancy cost spreadsheet on all renewals.
• Generates production/activity reports through Deal Connect, receives feedback and on-the-job training education.
• Prepares strategic plans, abstracts leases and works on marketing strategies with marketing departments to better merchandise the assigned portfolio.
• Shadow deal makers in the office field.
• Leases new vacant space.

Are You Qualified?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Real Estate from an accredited university
• Real estate salesperson license
• 1 – 3 years of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or related field
• Knowledge of local real estate market and local broker/landlord community
• Quantitative and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of the retail industry and of lease or sales contract terminology
• Can test at an introductory level proficiency on Microsoft Office software, email and internet research functionality
• Understands P&L statements, credit reports and balance sheet information
• Willing to learn new technology as it evolves in the industry, i.e. AI integration
