As a certified wound care/treatment specialist, you will work with the center clinical team and, under physician orders, develop and implement a wound care/treatment plan that meets each resident's specific needs and reflects best practices.

As a certified wound care/treatment specialist, you will work with the center clinical team and, under physician orders, develop and implement a wound care/treatment plan that meets each resident's specific needs and reflects best practices.
You will:
- Perform accurate and comprehensive wound/skin care assessments of each assigned resident
- Develop and implement an evidence-based care plan for each wound care patient
- Communicate patient clinical status changes to the healthcare team and physician
- Visit in-room with staff for collaboration, education/training, evaluating competency, and performing skills checks
- Review charts of wound care patients as assigned
- Deliver skilled nursing care
- Manage nursing duties on a rotating basis
- Possess a nursing license in the state of employment
- Possess active wound care certification
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and inform on appropriate issues
- Maintain current wound care/treatment practices
