JRegency of Texas is seeking to hire Facility Maintenance. This position is fully accountable for all day-to-day property maintenance operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property.

Reports to: Facility Manager.
Wage Status: Hourly - $15-$17 per hour

*Job Responsibilities*

Maintenance:

· Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections and tours.

• Physically walk and inspect the property and complete any required maintenance to buildings, roads, plumbing and common areas.
• Ensure that the property and lots are mowed, trimmed and sprayed for weeds and that all tools and equipment are maintained and in proper working order

· Assure quality and quantity of market ready vacancies.

· Ensure that all service requests are recorded and completed in a timely manner.

• Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required

Administrative:

· Ensure proper response and handling of all community emergencies with vendors/contractors, residents, buildings, etc. within company guidelines to minimize liabilities (i.e., criminal activity on community, employee/resident injuries, fires, floods, freezes, etc).

· Ensure distribution of all company or community-issued notices (i.e., bad weather, emergency, etc).

Qualifications:

· High school diploma/GED required.

· Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.

· Ability to use, operate and maintain landscaping equipment.

· General plumbing knowledge.

· Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.

· Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.

· Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.

· Be able to work evenings and weekends.

· Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

· Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
