Region One Education Service Center is Hiring a Network Support Specialist for Central Office Near Edinburg, TX
To administer and support district's network infrastructure. Minimum Education/CertificationAssociate of Applied Science degree in an IT related field from an accredited institution and at least one industry recognized certification such as CCNA, CCNP, MCP, or MCSE. Prefer Bachelor's degree in an IT related field with multiple industry recognized certifications. Special Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrated ability in the administration and troubleshooting of LAN's and WAN's
Strong working knowledge of network design and installation
Experience and working knowledge of setting up network security and protocols
Experience and working knowledge of network structure and e-mail (i.e., Microsoft)
Experience in writing and generating documentation of network environments
Ability to analyze and resolve network problems
Ability to work effectively with organization's personnel and outside vendors
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum ExperienceMinimum three (3) years of work experience in administering, supporting, and troubleshooting LAN and WAN infrastructures, including wireless and VoIP networks under a Windows AD environment.
