Qualifications
- Physician Assistant License
- DEA Registration Certificate (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Engage, assess, diagnose and treat patients
- Address patients concerns and needs
- Discuss goals and options with patients
- Discuss benefits and risks of care plan with patients
- Document clinical notes, lab results and treatment plans in EMR in timely fashion
- Guide work performed by registered nurses and medical assistants
- Send end prescriptions
- Communicate with patients via email, phone and video
- Communicate with patients about follow-ups, lab results and treatment plans
- Communicate with care team members to coordinate patient care
