POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Courier to join our Purchasing Team! The Courier's main fuunctions include being the RHSHC courier for locations not located on the main campus including but not limited to Cresco Family Pharmacy South, South, George Willis Campus, Elma Clinic, and Lime Springs Clinic. This role also aids stocking multiple departments of the hospital, clinic, and supply storeroom. Position requires frequent lifting of greater than 50 lbs.

* This position is either PRN, with varied hours, or Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks*

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DETAILED DUTIES:

* Coordinates daily deliveries of department supplies, mail, and lab specimens.

* Maintains a knowledge base of products and services offered by RHSHC.

* Ensuring supply room is cleaned and stocked.

* Stocking of all departments including but not limited to Laboratory, Clinic, MedSurg, Operating Room, Emergency Department, Obstetrics, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc.

* Schedules maintenance for department vehicle(s).

* Performs vehicle safety checks to verify safe working condition.

* Other driver duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school education or equivalent.

* Must be 18 years or older due to federal driving regulations.

* Ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions.

* Able to utilize good judgment and initiative in daily work responsibilities.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Demonstrates a cooperative and friendly manner.

* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

* Must have valid car insurance to meet requirements.
