Grant Program Manager A Brief Overview The Program Manager is the centralized role for the management of the Healthy Start grant. This role provides leadership and oversight for the development, management, and delivery of Healthy Start services. The Program Manager will support established programs and the operational team by organizing and tracking grant deliverables, budgets, contracts, and reports. A partnership with the program staff to ensure the proper compliance with the rules associated with the grant is essential. This position is a critical link between departments and helps ensure compliance with grant requirements. The role will increase community engagement, provide support to team members and community partners, and collect, analyze, and report program data. The PM must have the experience, relationship building capacity, and knowledge required to oversee resources and provide support required by Healthy Start. The PM will partner with ancillary departments such as Regional One Health's Organizational Development, Marketing and Care Coordination teams to provide the necessary training and development and other activities in support of the program. What you will do
Provides strategic and managerial leadership for successful implementation of program activities
Develop relationships with community partners to guide objectives, activities, program components, and concept before finalizing program design.
Actively participate and engage in the Community Consortium to strengthen relationships, share insights, and explore strategic topics; provide additional opportunities for learning, network-building, and collaboration.
Responsible for planning and managing the program budget in conjunction with the OB/GYN Practice Manager
Coordinate the data submission process, provide required data and documents, serve as quality control during the submission process, and ensure materials are appropriately documented and reported
Oversees the selection and training of qualified program staff. Responsible for assigning roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision, management of performance to ensure efficient operations, and assist with questions regarding grant compliance
Ensure that agreements with subcontractors meet the procurement compliance requirements of the grant award
Manage and respond to requests for technical assistance, resources, connections, and guidance
Ensure that the program complies and progresses in accordance to its obligations as well as identify opportunities to improve grant related processes within the regulations and organizational policies.
Provide consistent and thorough updates to the Director of Women's Services and Practice Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Finance or related healthcare field Required
Minimum 3 years experience managing grants and contracts with a strong understanding of government and public grant requirements and data reporting. Required
Experience in leadership networking, coalition/relationship building, program design or nonprofit capacity building processes Required
