A Brief Overview Plans, directs and manages the day-to-day operations for post-acute services, including outpatient rehabilitative services, inpatient rehabilitation hospital, skilled nursing service, and serves as the senior partner and executive for LTACH, to effectively and efficiently provide quality health care and maximize patient outcomes in accordance with standards of care, related policies and procedures, compliance/performance improvement, safety, infection control, and other regulatory requirements. What you will do
Develops and executes strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency within the post-acute care division.
Provides leadership and direction to facility administrators, clinical leaders, and support staff to ensure high-quality care delivery and adherence to regulatory standards.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, clinical teams, finance, and operations, to develop and implement integrated care pathways and best practices.
Leads initiatives to enhance patient experience, satisfaction, and outcomes through innovative care delivery models, technology solutions, and patient-centered programs.
Oversees financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation for the post-acute care division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in post-acute care delivery through performance monitoring, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
Establishes and maintains effective partnerships with external stakeholders, including referral sources, payers, regulatory agencies, and community organizations.
Stays abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in post-acute care to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Provides leadership and support to interdisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
Represents the organization at industry conferences, events, and meetings to promote our post-acute care services and enhance our reputation as a leader in the field.
Qualifications
Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business or related field. Required
Minimum 8 years experience of progressive leadership in healthcare administration, with a focus on specialty care services and rehabilitation. Comprehensive knowledge in understanding and supporting the interconnected matrix concepts inherent to health care delivery. Required and
At least 5 years experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility or freestanding rehabilitation hospital or other healthcare settings in a leadership role. Required and
experience with physician relations, business development and community outreach. Required
