Regional Utilities is Hiring a Wastewater Operator (Santa Rosa Beach, FL) Near Santa Rosa, FL

Regional Utilities Of Walton County is proud to serve over 18,000 customers. Regional Utilities provides water and/or sewer service for a large portion of South Walton County.This position is responsible for all aspects of plant operations to include but not limited to sampling and testing wastewater per FDEP rules and regulations. Performs, daily reports to include hourly data recording, general plant operation and maintenance, grounds maintenance and hourly plant checks when applicable. Ensures safety practices to comply with OSHA regulations. 
The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for introduction of chemicals into wastewater plant. Maintains class “A”, “B” or “C” wastewater license. Reports directly to lead wastewater operator or Wastewater Manager.
Applicants must have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the US as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
