Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Security Officer Job Duties:

• Officer will patrol a marina area that includes several docks and riverfront areas.
• Secures premises by patrolling, monitoring and surveilling assigned area.
• Must be able to drive a golf cart when needed.
• Challenges anyone engaged in suspicious activity.
• Will report any irregularities and call law enforcement if needed.
• Completes incidents and shift reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Security Officer Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and be understood in the English language.
• Evidence have served at least 3 years in a responsible full-time security position.
• Observe any suspicious activity and report incidents in detail.
• Must be able to legally carry firearm and gear while on duty.
• Must be able to drive and walk the entire premises in an overnight environment.

Available Post:

• Armed Guard (Wed-Sun 5pm-12am) 35hrs/week
