Job Description:
At Regions, the Financial Systems Analyst implements and maintains financial software and ensures that all financial modules are meeting organizational needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborates with information technology and finance staff to meet business requirements; may be responsible for end user training
Ensures that consistent practices are used throughout the company to maintain the integrity of the system
Processes financial information and maintains financial records in the system
Provides expertise in analyses on financial systems data, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
Performs a variety of complicated tasks
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Mentor and train junior analysts on financial systems and process
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field with six (6) years of experience in the field/related area
Or, a High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of experience in a related technical field
Skills and Competencies
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

This position is on the Financial Systems team at Regions.
Responsibilities include
Developing new processes and supporting existing processes to load and process data used for management reporting
Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) skills including Stored Procedures, Functions, etc.
Assists with application patching and vulnerability management for OFSAA, ESSBASE, DRM, and DODECA applications
Coordinates with various Technology groups for change management and support requests
Develops and executes Informatica workflows
Develops scripts and batches for process automation
Thorough validation of all processes to ensure data accuracy
Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Minimum: $76,746.40 USD
Median: $103,060.00 USD
