As a Phlebotomist you will:

* Perform venipunctures and skin punctures on hospital patients.

* Assists in reviewing lab results and alerts Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor or Director of Nursing as needed.

* Responsibilities include blood specimen collection including blood cultures.

As a Phlebotomist you will have:

* High school graduate or equivalent.

* Formal Phlebotomy training as required by state.

* Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred and valid state Clinical Lab Scientists as required by state.

* Six (6) months acute phlebotomy experience or one (1) year experience as a medical assistant performing venipuncture or one (1) year outpatient lab experience preferred.
