REI Enterprises, LLC is Hiring a Process Controls Technician Near Rembrandt, IA

Job Summary:Process Control Technician manages and maintains the site’s technology systems, including but not limited to PLC systems, HMI/SCADA systems, printers, phones, cameras, networking, access control, information systems hardware and software. The Process Control Technician facilitates the administration and supports all technological systems for Rembrandt operational area.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs administration and maintenance for all systems listed above
  • Implements PLC, HMI, Network, and software configuration changes
  • Implements PLC, HMI, and software programming changes
  • Provides end user support for control and information system problems
  • Provides operational equipment support for control and information system problems
  • Troubleshoots operational information technology system problems
  • Communicates with management on day-to-day maintenance issues
  • Supports process improvement projects for all technical equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required:
  • Associates degree in related field
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of instrumentation and controls
  • 3 years of relative work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of PLC hardware and software
  • Ability to program various PLC’s
  • Ability to modify changes with various HMI systems
  • Knowledge of EtherNet networking principles
  • Knowledge of DeviceNet networking principles
  • Ability to troubleshoot and replace electrically driven equipment.
  • Ability to read, understand and create ladder logic diagrams
  •  Awareness and knowledge of surroundings in relation to climate, atmosphere and equipment
  • Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand
  • Attention to detail
  • Independent Self Starter/Team Player
  • Mathematical skills: General Arithmetic/Basic algebra/Percentages/Fractions
  • Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Touch Screens
  • On call duties as needed to include nights and weekends
  • Hand/Eye/Foot Coordination
  • Advanced English: fluent: speaking, reading and writing

  • Slip Resistant Leather Work Rubber Boots/Frocks/ Hearing Protection/ Safety Glasses/ Hair nets/beard nets/Respirator mask/Harness/ Hard hat

  • Large push broom, kitchen pull broom/Squeegee, floor mop/ High pressure wand/ Air hoses
