Responsibilities
- Write well-designed code following best practices with automated testing.
- Maintain and operate federal websites.
- Triage security and compliance issues
- Migrate applications to cloud infrastructure.
- Operate within an agile scrum framework.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Python web development (Python web framework along with Python test frameworks)
- Experience building DevSecOps pipeline with build, deploy, automated testing, and Security/vulnerability scanning.
- Linux system administration
- DevOps experience. Hands-on experience deploying dockers in AWS or other cloud providers
- Cloud Computing experience
- Experience building and supporting distributed computing environments
- Git/Github actions
- Willing to learn new technologies and contribute as needed
- Self-driven individuals with proven experience in delivering resultsDesired Skills
- Maintenance of Solr/SolrCloud instance
- Experience with Cloud Foundry
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with AirFlow
- Proficient with developer tools to analyze, debug, and profile code
- Continuous learner who acquires knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
- Front-End experience
Education: B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
Location: 100% remote with 10% travel may be required Local to DMV preferred
Clearance: able to obtain Public Trust
