As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment and product reaches our customers safely and on time
.**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience driving both NON CDL trucks with trailers and F550 dump trucks. While a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required, a clean driving record and a commitment to safety are essential.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Safely operate and maneuver F350 trucks with trailers and F550 dump trucks to transport equipment and products to customer sites.
2. Load and unload equipment onto trucks using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring secure placement and adherence to weight distribution guidelines.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any delivery-related inquiries or concerns from customers in a professional manner.
5. Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, including delivery tickets, inspection reports, and any other required documentation.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are properly stocked with necessary equipment and supplies.
7. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure safe and responsible driving practices.
8. Collaborate with counter team members to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize delivery routes.
9. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and any issues encountered during delivery.
10. During down time, help out in yard as needed. Washing, servicing, loading equipment and other tasks as required.
11. Explaining to customers how to properly operate equipment.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent
.2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
3. Previous experience driving trucks with trailers and F550 trucks preferred.
4. Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
8. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet customer demands.
9. Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment operation is a plus.
