Preschool Program manager essential job functions includes but is not limited to:

• Managing day to day operations of the childcare center
• Provide educational direction & implementation of the High Scope Curriculum
• Scheduling staff
• Enrolling students
• DHS billing and collecting tuition
• Oversee CACFP food program
• Conforming to health and safety guidelines, CACFP, GSRP and licensing regulations.
• Utilizing the High Scope curriculum and COR (Child Observation Record)
• ASQ developmental assessment for children entering the program
• MiStar attendance
• Performing duties for staff that may be absent
• Planning field trips, special events and holiday activities
• Calculate staff hours for payroll
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
• Handling all matters related to the administration of the center

************ Requirements ************

· MUST HAVE a minimum 1 -year experience managing a child care program

· 1 -year non-managerial classroom experience with the HighScope curriculum

· 60 semester hours of college with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Development OR Early Childhood Education (Some flexibility allowed within State of Michigan guidelines)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
