Job Overview:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will report to our Accounting Manager and will be responsible for accounts receivable and/or accounts payables. Effective communication skills and relationship building will simplify these daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Detailed daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform administrative tasks including answering inbound calls for accounting and the entire office
• Assist accounts payable and/or accounts receivable to receive, process, and reconcile vendor/client/bank/third party payment statements.
• Monitor, work and provide status proof of delivery report and/or do not pay report.
• Utilize Accounting software to enter, track and process all vendor/client invoices.
• Respond to client and vendor inquiries in a timely manner
• Process vendor and client payments
• Set up vendors/clients who wish to receive ACH payment.
• Communicate with appropriate Accounting manager regarding invoice or payment discrepancies in a timely manner
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts in RPS and the accounting system
• Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
• Assist with account reconciliation
• Prepare and make bank deposits
• Assist with audits.
• Assist with claim offsets.
• Participate in and assist with peer training.
• Document and maintain instruction/how-to guides.
• Ad-hoc assistance when needed or requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,623.75 - $45,000.00 per year
