Successful and busy physical therapy clinic looking for full time/part time PT aide to assist with patients. We offer a great working environment and competitive pay. DESCRIPTION:
The physical therapy aide provides services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist's assistant. Fluency in SPANISH is a plus, but not required.
DUTIES AS DESCRIBED BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Monitor patients on specific exercise program
2. Help educate patients on exercise
3. Assist physical therapists in setting up patients on modalities (i.e. ice, ultrasound, electrical stimulation...)
4. Helping clean tables and equipment after patient use and prepares treatment rooms for next patient
5. Copy exercise programs and filing
6. Most importantly, caring for each patient in a professional manner in various aspects of their rehabilitation
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current or planned enrollment in a degree related to human movement
2. Experience in exercise and human anatomy is a plus
3. Great customer service skills
SKILLS:
Spanish Speaking preferred but not required
Dynamic, friendly, upbeat and professional
Team-player with great customer service skills
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Can multi-task and work with minimal supervision
