Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care by assisting physicians with patient treatments, managing clinical tasks, and providing administrative support. This position requires excellent communication, clinical skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nursing staff in administering treatments and procedures.
• Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments and maintaining organized patient records.
• Conduct basic diagnostic tests as directed by the physician, such as taking blood pressure, temperature, and other vital signs.
• Prepare examination rooms before each patient's appointment, ensuring all necessary equipment is clean and properly set up.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and maintain a secure and accurate medication inventory.
• Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and other basic medical procedures.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for medications and other treatments.
• Assist with front office duties, including answering phones, greeting patients, and managing patient records and billing.
• Comply with all clinic health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations.
• Proficient in clinical procedures, including administering injections and phlebotomy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress effectively.
• Proficient with medical office software and patient management systems.
