JOB TITLE: OPERATIONS MANAGER
LOCATION: GLENWILLOW, OH
TYPE: REGULAR FULL-TIME
PAY: SALARIED, HIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY COMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE, BREDTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTICE.
REPORTS TO: CHIEF MECHANICAL OFFICER
I. SUMMARY: RELAM is a Railroad Equipment Leasing and Maintenance Company
Operations Manager position is responsible for the safety, quality, and overall production for remanufacturing and maintenance at RELAM, Inc shop facilities. Including managing, in conjunction with our Safety Director, OSHA Safety Documentation, Safety Training, Environmental Policy, operating policies, procedures, and LEAN initiatives including but not limited to iMARQ/ConneXt Shop Reporting, Purchase Order Creation, Labor tracking, Logistics, Yard Maintenance, Shop Equipment Inspections, SDS sheet maintenance and supporting additional software implementations.

Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to manuals, technical procedures, government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

While performing this job's duties, the employee must sit, stand, and walk for various periods. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment consists of an industrial office and occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions and possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, or fumes when in the plant environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
H. Other Requirements
Individual must have the ability to travel periodically as needed. Limited travel requirement should not exceed three to four weeks a year.
