Relate Search has partnered with a global chemical manufacturer to add a Senior Process Engineer with mentoring and training experience to their team in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. This Senior Process Engineer, reporting to the Plant Manager, is a position directly responsible for developing and maintaining operational standards in the plant.

What You'll Do:

• Train and mentor junior process engineers.
• Develop and maintain operating standards on existing equipment.
• Publish work instructions. Train staff on new or updated work instructions and monitor compliance.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Trial and qualify improvements with operational staff.
• Work with operations and maintenance and assist in developing design specifications for new or modified equipment
• Assist operations and maintenance in developing qualification testing for new or modified equipment

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master's degree is preferred
• 6-10 years in a Process Engineering role in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing junior engineers or interns.
• Experience managing and leading projects, demonstrating the ability to coordinate and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
