Job Responsibilities for Accounting Manager:

  • Responsible for the monthly and annual financial statement preparation of ARM and all related consolidating entities.

  • Lead system processes and accounting rollout of international operations (currently Mexico and India joint ventures).

  • Lead the development of the budgeting and forecasting process. Continual monitoring vs. actual results.

  • Create and develop automated financial statements and operational reports

  • Maintain control and structure of General Ledger to support the financial reporting and budgeting/forecasting.

  • Create/document standard operating procedures and internal controls for accounting and operational transactions.

  • Review and approval of all general journal entries

  • Review and approve general ledger account reconciliations. Support staff in creating business value-add reconciliations.

  • Oversee monthly inventory tracking and reporting general offsite/external inventory reconciliation

Gross Margin Reporting - analyze profit the Bility of all activities not limited to individual lots or customer accounts Understand ext. internal refining costs to determine adv the /disadvantages of each.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with other facility operations. Provide support where needed to assist Plant Managers/Owners.

  • Responsible for all external financial support to outside accounting/auditing firm, governing agencies, banks, and insurance companies.

  • Special projects as required. Requirements:

  • Strong EXCEL skills (VLook Up, Pivot Tables) and computer literacy.

  • Ability to analyze/deconstruct complex transaction flows. Strong analytical skillset

  • Continuous process improvement mindset

  • Strong managerial, supervisory, organizational, and communication skills.

Desired:

  • Minimum 10 years accounting manager related work experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • BS in accounting with a basic understanding of cost accounting Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision a plus, but not required.
