This is a Product Support Specialist Sales position that is responsible for providing customer driven focus to provide technical expertise, and product selection directly for customers within the Instrumentation and Analytical category. The expectation is that the PSS will work with outside sales, inside sales, service, and our engineered solutions teams to grow our portfolio at a rate of 10% growth YOY or greater. Although there is direction from management team on strategic sales initiatives, procedures, and goals, Product Support Specialist’s are expected to be able to perform day-to-day marketing/sales activities and meet sales objectives primarily without direct supervision. The PSS’s set their own day-to-day schedules. PSS will be spending at least 60% of their time on execution of strategy, 25% of their time with supplier development and 15% of their time on strategy.
