Reliable Respiratory has an exciting job opportunity for a Delivery Driver Technician!
- This is a Full Time, Monday through Friday Opportunity*
The Delivery Driver Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up equipment to customers.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers in their homes delivering and picking up durable medical equipment
- Coordinates with the Respiratory Therapists to provide additional equipment as needed
- Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
- Ensures equipment is cleaned properly and in accordance with Reliable Respiratory’s standards
- Maintains the Company vehicle in a clean, safe operating condition and completes logs as required
- Assists in receiving orders and putting away inventory as needed
- Complies with all policies and procedures established by the company and the company's regulatory bodies
- Other tasks and duties as required
- 21 years of age or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future
- Must have High School diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid and current driver’s license from the state of residence
- Have at least 3 years verifiable driving experience
- Have no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents on the driving record within the past 3 years
- Have no misdemeanor conviction relating in any way to the operation of a motor vehicle where you have been convicted of, or released from incarceration, within the past three years (other than a first conviction for any of the following misdemeanors: drunkenness, simple assault, speeding, minor traffic violations, affray or disturbance of the peace) and no felony convictions
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to reconcile multiple shifting logistical factors for each appointment
- Ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Familiar with FDA regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call outside of normal business hours when required
- Ability to comply with guidelines both internal and industry-imposed
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position; place, detect, inspect, position equipment or other elements of the assigned tasks, communicate, exchange information and converse with patients, vendors, coworkers
- This position occasionally is required to move, traverse, ascend/descend, balance or position self to complete the assigned tasks.
- This position must regularly exert up to 100 pounds of force, and/or a significant amount of force to move, position, transport, install objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- This position is required to operate a motor vehicle.
- While performing the duties of this, the employee is frequently exposed to cleaning product fumes and dust and is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- This job entails possible occasional exposure to body fluids which can contain blood-borne pathogens
- This position may entail possible exposure to hazardous material including liquid or gaseous oxygen
