Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing for Women's Services to oversee the 24-hour management of the unit, ensuring that patient care meets the standard of care. The Director will be responsible for managing the delivery of care, maintaining quality standards, and providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the 24-hour operations of the Women's Services unit, ensuring that patient care meets the standard of care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Manage the unit budget and resources effectively.
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Women's Services, including Labor/Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and NICU
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in Women's Services
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BCLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
