Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Position can be located anywhere in the US.
This position is the linkage between IT and the departmental business units.
This role is responsible for understanding, defining and documenting existing business procedures. It is also critical that the business analyst seeks out areas of process improvement, acting as a change agent, challenging the norm of business operation with the goal of driving hard dollar savings and business advantage for Matrix.
Technical Knowledge
Must have working and conceptual knowledge of at least one or more of the following disciplines?

• Java, C , html, XML java script, SQL, relational databases or JSP

Systems Knowledge / Experience
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in the following in

• Defining and documenting system requirements
• Systems modeling of enterprise applications
• Data analysis
• Project Management
• Modeling methodologies (must be proficient in at least one)

It would be of distinct advantage to have work experience of
Knowledge of Insurance industry third party administrator business practices
Knowledge of Corporate Systems
Knowledge of Leave Link
Job Requirements

• Must have analytical skills and be able to quickly understand business processes.
• Must have proven business analysis skills on multiple large scale projects (>700 person days)
• Must have demonstrable knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable communicating up to the executive level.
• Must have broad knowledge of enterprise business processes across HR, Accounting, Sales, and Operations within a Services industry
• Must be well organized with a strong attention to detail
• Must have knowledge of multiple modeling methodologies and tools
• Must be competent and confident in delivering customer (internal/ external) requirements gathering workshops and training

Personal Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a commitment to get the job done and a sense of urgency to complete critical issues.
• Must have proven team working capabilities, with the ability to interface with a wide range of users.

Workers Compensation Specific Requirements

• Must know how Matrix uses Claimsuite
• Document from a process perspective the major areas of Claimsuite functionality Account Setup, EDI reporting, check printing, Confidentiality note flagging, med bill review, New user request, Change user authority etc.
• Act as a subject matter expert in relation to the technical working and business process components of the application to operations and other departments
• Be the main contributor for systems/ business analysis work in relation to the workers comp application

Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
