- Learn the functions of all aspects of the sales team- Inside Sales, Fabrication Sales, Outside Sales.
- Maintain, develop, and grow new and established customer accounts.
- Serve as the primary contact for accounts.
- Field inbound calls/emails from customers
- Make outbound calls/emails to current and prospective customers.
- Quote pricing and lead time, communicate expectations with the customer.
- Manage orders both internally and externally.
- Daily coordination with all departments at CPS to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build relationships with customer base.
- Valid driver’s license – required.
- No relevant experience required; will receive on-the-job training.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) – required.
- Basic measurement and arithmetic skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly - required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and customers/vendors - required.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, and judgment - required.
- High School diploma/GED - required.
- 4-year college degree - preferred.
- Detail oriented, can maintain organization, and multi-task - preferred.
- Problem solving/Conflict resolution and negotiation skills - preferred.
