The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer I works collaboratively with end users/clients to develop solutions that provide accessible information for decision-making. The Associate BI Developer uses data sourced from internal and/or external systems and uses MS Azure tools and Power BI to solve client/organizational problems by translating data to usable information by performing analysis, creating dashboards and data visualizations.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Works on well-defined analytical and visualization tasks in collaboration with more senior members of the team
  • Participates on Scrum team development efforts and solution development efforts
  • Uses data to drive ROI goals and ensure iterative improvements
  • Develops partnership relationships with clients and teammates
  • Shows consistent effort and is proactive in learning how to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participates in efforts with stakeholders and clients (internal and external)
  • Fosters networking and cross-functional collaboration to develop knowledge base
  • Participates in design reviews and proactively learns software development best practices
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have/Are
  • 1 years of BI related experience
  • 1 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Knowledge of fundamental BI developer skills (ETL, DB Design, Dashboard / Report Design)
  • Knowledge of software lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Agile process
  • Knowledge of Azure, ADF, Azure Repos
  • Ability to read and write queries using T-SQL
  • Ability to create dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Introductory knowledge of DAX and M development languages
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software design, math, or other related program or 2 years related Experience.
It Would Be Ideal If You Have
  • 2-4 years of BI experience
  • Power BI, Azure certifications
