Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for team members.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
    • Identify and target new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, and partnerships.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation campaigns.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification
    • Oversee the lead generation process to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads.
    • Implement strategies to qualify leads effectively, ensuring they meet the ideal customer profile.
    • Utilize various tools and methods, such as outbound calls, emails, social media, and other channels, to generate and qualify leads.
  • Appointment Setting
    • Ensure SDRs are effectively setting appointments with qualified leads for the sales team.
    • Monitor the quality and volume of appointments set, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
    • Develop and refine appointment-setting scripts and processes to improve conversion rates.
  • Sales Process Optimization
    • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure efficient management of leads through the sales funnel.
    • Implement and optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on the success of sales initiatives.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for major clients and handle complex negotiations.
    • Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly.
  • Market Research & Analysis
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
    • Analyze competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate our offerings.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align efforts and achieve business goals.
    • Communicate business development initiatives and results to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Skills & Competencies
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
    • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
