Our hotel, featuring 358 rooms and suites, is seeking a seasoned Housekeeping Manager. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for coordinating the cleaning of guest rooms and public
areas as efficiently as possible, at the lowest possible cost, keeping the highest standards of
cleanliness. They direct, manage, control and administer the operation of the housekeeping
department and staff in order to obtain the highest standards of cleanliness and to meet
management company and franchise standards to provide a clean, well-maintained product for
the guest, and to meet guest needs/requests promptly and courteously.
QualificationsExperience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a branded full-service and/or upscale hotel/resort environment.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in exceeding brand standards and guest expectations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft software, payroll, purchasing systems, and branded online learning platforms.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Hyatt and Remington platforms is highly desirable.
RequirementsLeadership and Management: Lead a dedicated team of over 40 colleagues, including those in Laundry operations. Ensure efficient support for guest rooms, two pools, a fitness center, and our Food & Beverage operations, which include two restaurants and banquet functions.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management for guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens. Ensure accurate tracking and replenishment to meet operational needs.
Operational Excellence: Maintain and exceed minimum brand standards consistently, ensuring all guest expectations are met and surpassed.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft software for various administrative tasks. Handle payroll, purchasing, and engage with branded online learning platforms daily.

• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning requirements
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and immediately report guest belongings that have been left behind
• Lift approximately thirty-five (35) pounds of equipment or supplies, using safe lifting techniques
• Twist, bend, reach and stoop to push heavy carts, approximately one hundred (100) pounds
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, using written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork
