Join us as a Finance Data Control Lead
In this key role, you’ll perform Finance Data Control activities locally, leading a group of data specialists and supporting enablement of the Finance Data Control strategy
We’ll look to you to provide assurance to Finance business teams on the quality of key data elements to enable sign off of internal and external reporting
You’ll be honing your strategic talents and gaining valuable leadership experience, acting as a custodian of data in Risk & Finance Data Product (RFDP) and data marts
What you'll do As a Finance Data Control Lead, you’ll lead the identification of key data elements from report and output deconstruction across all business outcomes and oversee the activities required for lineage analysis for all Finance business outcomes. We’ll look to you to lead on AWS Risk & Finance Data Platform governance, ensuring assurance to risk and finance on controls, data model robustness and quality of data elements within AWS RFDP. You’ll Also Be
Responsible for embedding the Finance Data Control operating model in the relevant jurisdictions, working in partnership with key stakeholders across relevant teams
Engaging with external parties to establish the pipeline of talent and brand for the relevant jurisdiction
Overseeing data sourcing and the production of data quality dashboards, providing commentary and identifying any data quality issues and escalating as required
Engaging with senior stakeholders to establish and agree key data element definitions
Driving the implementation of the data ownership model for key data elements, working with senior stakeholders across the hub
Providing data management expertise and guidance to Finance change programme impacting data
The skills you'll need To excel in this role, you’ll need experience of leading cross functional initiatives and change activities with a proven technical background illustrating governance, strategy and management. You’ll also need strong leadership and coaching skills with a good knowledge of risk reporting principles. In addition, you’ll have the ability to focus on the needs of customers and stakeholders while developing the risk data service offering in response to the evolving data agenda.
