Remoteworker Us is Hiring a Remote Application Support Specialist /Product Specialist 2 (remote)
Overview: Knowledge Services is seeking a remote Application Support Specialist for a 12-month contract (potential to extend) with the State of Maine Office of Technology for hospital support. Role is open to remote applicants. Responsibilities: Application Support Specialist Responsibilities:
This position will be a member of an application support team and will become a technical subject matter expert for the state psychiatric hospitals’ applications and systems.
Provide application operational end-user support including rotational afterhours on-call support.
Provide support for the implementation team of the state hospital’s electronic health record project and additional implementation teams for other state hospital initiatives/projects.
There will be a rotating on call schedule, one week each month.
Tasks will include:
End-user support
User Administration
System Administration
Interface Monitoring
Afterhours support
Forms development
Report writing
Work with cross functional technology teams to determine best practice configurations, and workflows.
Read/analyze/modify technical documentation
Work with vendor(s) to facilitate implementation
Perform system testing
Qualifications: Application Support Specialist Required Skills:
Must have at least two (2) years of End-user application support experience, technical support, experience with application vendor management, application implementation and technical and user workflows.
Experience with User Administration
Experience with Application System Administration
Mush be able to work a rotating on call schedule, one week each month.
Preferred Skills:
Healthcare information technology
Crystal Reporting experience
XML development
SQL programming language
