One of the south's fastest growing law firms is in need of an Associate Attorney, who is a self-starter, with strong writing skills, and performs well with minimal supervision. This position will be a remote opportunity.
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing briefs for submission to the Veterans Administration Department.
- Responsible for the management of multiple cases. The management of cases requires active oversight in the progression of the case from its inception to its resolution by ensuring that the files have been properly maintained and prepared for submission to the Veterans Administration. The management of cases requires regular documentation in case management software.
- Candidates need to be in good standing with the Alabama Bar Association, have strong PC skills, have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism, have excellent written communication skills including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation, have a professional and courteous demeanor, and the ability to work independently/sort priorities with minimal direct supervision.
