Position: Data Analyst InternReporting To: Sr. Scientist II, AI
Position ObjectiveThe successful candidate for this internship position will leverage a variety of data science and machine learning techniques to help the innovation of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) based nucleic acid drug delivery systems at Nitto BioPharma, Inc.
Major Job Functions
- Participate in data collection, curation, sanity check, QA/QC and exploratory analysis
- Participate in predictive machine learning model building, model evaluation, feature evaluation, and feature engineering.
- Participate in literature survey and exploratory algorithm studies.
- Majoring or experienced in biomedical related fields with quantitative computational education a plus.
- Course works on statistics and informatics is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in collaborative fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
- Hands-on biomedical research experience is appreciated.
- Understanding of the multimodality pharma domain datasets.
- Python and R
- Data analysis projects demonstrating related skills.
- Cross-functional teamwork experience
