Responsibilities:
- Trade Execution: Assist in the execution of trades across different asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and currencies.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities, assess market trends, and gather relevant data to support trading decisions.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with risk management teams to monitor and analyze portfolio risk exposures, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Trade Support: Provide administrative support to senior traders, including trade confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement activities.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize trading platforms and technology tools effectively to streamline trading processes and optimize execution efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment strategies, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new trading strategies.
- Communication: Maintain open communication channels with internal teams, external counterparties, and brokers to facilitate efficient trade execution and resolve any trading-related issues promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading principles, and investment strategies.
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and other financial analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior internship or work experience in trading, asset management, or financial services is preferred but not required.
