Job DescriptionRemX has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager with a one of the world's most admired healthcare companies.
This is a temp position for about 6 months
Location: Brentwood, TN
Hours: 8 am- 5 pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $42/hr
Summary: The Finance Manager plays a crucial role within the organization by overseeing financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to support executive decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate financial services including monthly and annual closing cycles, general ledger accounting, reconciliation, budget review, and clinic internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the CFO, Director of Finance, and department staff to develop short and long-term financial and accounting programs, covering areas such as budgeting, profit and loss analysis, accounting systems, reporting, and internal auditing.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution, and retention of all financial reports related to organization.
  • Coordinate with organization management, division financial personnel, and facility personnel to create annual capital and operating budgets.
  • Select, train, motivate, and evaluate personnel to maintain quality service and technical expertise.
  • Work with organization administration staff and Information Systems to develop financial and operating reports for monitoring practice entities at various levels.
  • Analyze standard monthly financial and statistical reports, identifying opportunities for improvement to maximize financial and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the performance of physician contracts and acquisitions/start-ups to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Analyze operational indicators of practices, identifying best practices and areas for improvement, and reporting findings to organization management.
  • Analyze trends in net revenue and accounts receivable, collaborating with relevant personnel to ensure accurate reporting and drive process improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in accounting and/or auditing, including at least two years in a healthcare organization.
  • Additional relevant education may be substituted for two years of healthcare accounting experience.
