The Division Controller you will have an impact to drive the growth and profitability of division. Working closely with the VP of Finance & Accounting on financial and accounting related strategies including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
The Division Controller Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis on key business initiatives aimed at optimizing operations.
- Responsible for month-end closing process including journal entries, standard reporting package, account reconciliations, and KPI tracking.
- Conduct evaluation and tracking of annual budgets in accordance with business plan.
- In charge of managing Account Payable individual and Staff Accountant, ensuring efficient financial operations and effective team collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 years of financial accounting experience
- Residential homebuilding industry experience
- Strong analytical skills and team player
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Understands sense of urgency
- Excellent Communication skills both oral and written
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License preferred
