Job DescriptionOUSTANDING PLANT CONTROLLER OPPORTUNITY , Essex County, NJ
  • $130K to $140K DOE bonus to Start
  • Must be capable of rapid growth plan in place to promote role to Group Controller, then to the CFO!

Ideal Candidate has 5 years of accounting/finance, MUST HAVE COST ACCOUNTING and manufacturing industry experience. Supervisory Skills & CPA is a plus!
Responsibilities
  • Handle high-level accounting and oversee all the financials by preparing quarterly/annual financial reports and managing quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage all aspects of the accounting department.
  • Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding pricing, contract negotiations, significant costs, benchmarks and other matters with management.
  • Analyze business performance. Results, providing feedback.
  • Oversee payments off all accounting; ensuring all accounts are paid on time.
  • Oversee proper processing of payroll.
  • Evaluate cost accounting and Ensure evaluation of Cost of Sales and Labor Costs.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation/reporting of monthly financial results in strict accordance with company deadlines (sales reporting, payroll reporting, weekly EBITDA reporting).
  • Have the ability to develop and implement process improvements and make recommendations.
  • Able to work well with senior executives and others.
  • Responsible to notify of sales trends and variations, and overall operational EBITDA.
  • Handle budgeting, payroll, cash flow, and all things related to banking.
  • Assist in the monthly close process.
  • Review schedules with operations and maximizes efficiency
  • COGS deviation resolutions and review and provide purchasing, inventory, valuation and theoretical analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required; CPA or CPA track is a plus
  • MUST HAVE COST ACCOUNTING and Inventory experience
  • Previous experience as a supervisor is a plus
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting/cost control principles, and GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills so that you can provide investor reports
  • Strong tech skills with proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel and Microsoft Office
  • ERP Implementation experience is a big plus
